North Coogee Redevelopment Structure Plan.

The North Coogee Development, once an underutilised industrial area, is situated 2km south of the Fremantle city centre. The transformation of this area into a vibrant, beach front, mixed use community is being achieved through the adoption of the Cockburn Coast District Structure Plan. In response to the new Cockburn Coast Vision, it is planned that a range of homes, apartments and town houses will take advantage of the excellent coastal views and embrace the beach lifestyle of South Beach. The North Coogee Development will also be part of a wider coastal community. In addition to the preservation of the significant stand of trees and the Robb Jetty Chimney and former South Fremantle Power Station; area primary school, community, employment, retail and transport hubs frame the North Coogee Redevelopment.
